The practical details

Privacy & cookies

The details we need, why we need them and the choices you have.

Who is responsible

CoCha Consulting AB (559596-6853), Vetenskapens gränd 12, 431 53 Mölndal, Sweden, is the controller of personal data used for YourLyricVideo. Contact us for privacy questions or requests.

What we use & why

The preview brief and selected files stay in your browser tab. They are not uploaded or sent to us; leaving or reloading the page clears the draft. A downloaded copy stays on your device until you delete it. Opening a policy link in a new tab lets you keep your draft.

  • Enquiries and projects: contact details, correspondence, your brief and supplied files, to answer you and carry out an agreed project. The basis is steps towards a contract or performance of a contract. For a company’s contact person, it is our legitimate interest in managing that business relationship.
  • Billing: billing details, transaction references and accounting records, to meet our legal obligations. Stripe is the planned payment provider; checkout is not active in this preview. When used, Stripe handles payment credentials directly; we do not receive your full card number. See Stripe’s privacy notice.
  • Site security: technical request data such as IP address, browser details, timestamps and error logs, for our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website.

Required project and contact details are needed to respond or fulfil an order. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal data or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Who receives it & how long we keep it

Only people and providers needed for hosting, communications, agreed production, payments and accounting receive relevant data, or authorities where required by law. Project files are not public portfolio material without your permission.

Enquiries are kept until resolved and any follow-up is complete. Project files are kept for production, agreed revisions and any agreed support period. Necessary contract and complaint records are kept while a claim can lawfully be brought or remains unresolved. We then delete or anonymise them. Accounting records are kept for seven years after the end of the calendar year in which the relevant financial year ended.

Providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers require a valid safeguard, such as an applicable European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with any necessary additional protection. Ask us for the providers, locations and safeguards relevant to your project and how to obtain a copy.

Cookies, without the clutter

The storefront does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use tracking pixels or store your brief in local storage. Fonts and sample videos are served from the site. No optional tracking is enabled, so there is no cookie consent banner.

If checkout or other features introduce cookies or similar storage, we will explain their names, providers, purposes and lifetimes here. Optional storage will require a choice before it is used, with an equally easy way to decline and withdraw consent. Necessary storage for a service you request does not require consent.

Your choices & rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us to make a request; we normally respond within one month. You may complain to IMY, Sweden’s privacy authority, or your local supervisory authority.
